About Lil
Lil is the creative force behind Wolfie & Lil Photography - a dog photographer with a unique perspective shaped by a background in geomorphology, years of experience training and competing with dogs, and a deep love for wild, beautiful landscapes.
With a scientific eye for reading terrain and light, Lil brings a rare ability to choose and use natural settings that elevate each image into a piece of art. Her understanding of landscape dynamics - honed through a decade of academic research and fieldwork - allows her to craft scenes where dogs belong, rather than pose.
As both a handler and a photographer, Lil understands dogs on a deeper level. Her years competing in numerous dog sports have given her an intuitive sense of timing, body language, and behaviour - all essential for capturing character and connection in a single frame.
Her work has been recognised in international photography competitions, reflecting both technical excellence and creative vision. Alongside this, Lil continues to refine her craft through mentorship and professional training, proudly holding memberships with leading photographic organisations that uphold the highest standards in artistry and service.

Lil doesn’t focus heavily on competitions with her photography (she’s too busy competing with her dogs!), however that hasn’t stopped her achieving results across a limited selection of entries each year:
