Every portrait experience with Wolfie & Lil is built around your dog, with a keen focus on highlighting breed specific traits and the interactions between dog and landscape.

Here’s how the process flows, from the first introduction to artwork in your hands:

    Step 1 - Enquire & Explore

    Start by getting in touch - share a little about your dog, where you’re based, and any ideas you already have for your session. We’ll find a date that works and begin shaping the vision together.

    Step 2 - Planning & Consultation

    Lil will guide you through a complimentary consultation, where we’ll chat through your hopes for the session, tailor some ideas to suit your dog, and finalise the location, time, and details. It’s relaxed, collaborative, and all about crafting something meaningful.

    Step 3 - The Session

    Now the magic begins. We head out to a carefully chosen location and work at your dog’s pace, making sure they feel calm, confident, and ready to shine. While you enjoy the moment, Lil captures genuine expressions and beautiful light.

    After the session, the creative work continues behind the scenes. Each image is artistically retouched by hand, transforming it into a piece of timeless, wall-worthy artwork.

    Step 4 - The Reveal

    Roughly two weeks later, we’ll meet again, either in person or virtually, for your private viewing. This is where you’ll see your images fully retouched and transformed into timeless artwork. You might have caught a glimpse on the day, but this is where the true magic is revealed.

    Step 5 - Artwork & Delivery

    Once you’ve selected your favourites, your chosen pieces are sent to our trusted fine art print partner in the North East. Every frame is handcrafted, every print carefully matted, and once it returns to Devon for a final quality check, it’s ready to make its way home to you - meaningful artwork, thoughtfully crafted to last.

The Portrait Experience Collections

Wolfie & Lil Photography offer multiple portrait experiences, these are an excellent way to package the photoshoot fee and wall art or print products into a single price.

  • The complete fine art experience, together we’ll curate a collection of three framed fine art pieces, comprising of one 24x16” and two 16x16” fine art prints expertly printed and hand framed by our partner lab.

  • Our most loved option, here we curate a collection of fine art prints that celebrate your dog. You’ll receive a bespoke box of ten frame ready, fine art prints to treasure and share.

  • An introduction to the Wolfie and Lil Photography experience. Perfect for those who want the freedom to choose their prints and wall art separately, while also receiving a beautiful winged folio of your favourite retouched images.

  • A short format session perfect for puppies or older dogs, and also dogs who perhaps haven’t experienced a photographer before. Whether they are in training, a rescue, or just need more time to adapt to a new environment, this session is specifically designed to build confidence.

Absolutely gorgeous pictures. I have had 2 photoshoots now with Wolfie & Lil Photography and I drive all the way from North Devon for the shoots as they are so worth it. We had such a wonderful time at the photoshoots, so fun and the dogs had a lovely time. Myself and the dogs were a bit chaotic and all over the place but Lil was so reassuring and supportive, and can honestly create miracles as the photos were breathtaking.
